Tournament Division

Players on Tournament teams are invited by a team manager. Therefore, individuals may not register for this division to be placed by the league. The manager has complete control of his roster as to who and how many players he wants and the league has no responsibility other than as to eligibility and to provide a 14 game schedule.

These teams are generally considered as USSSA AA level teams but may have AAA level teams as well. Players will be asked to register on line by the manager, but will pay a fee to the manager, who will in turn play a team fee to the league. The registration system will default the fee payment to the manager.

Each age group 10 through 18 may have a Tournament level depending upon the number of teams available within that age group. It is generally considered that at least 5 to 6 teams are needed to have enough for good scheduling and a variety of opponents. Games will be played on week-nights, normally Tuesday throught Thursday. This allows the team to have week-ends free to play in tournaments of their choice. The team fee will include accident and liability insurance as provided to all other players and teams in OYBI.
