Gold Glove Division

This is the highest level of play available by OYBI and is done in conjunction with teams from Blue Valley Recreation and independent teams in the Metro KC area. Teams may be age 9 through 14. Players on Gold Glove teams are invited by a team manager. Therefore, individuals may not register for this division to be placed by the league.

The manager has complete control of his roster as to who and how many players he wants and the league has no responsibility other than as to eligibility and to provide a game schedule. These teams are generally considered as USSSA AAA level teams but may have AA level teams as well.

Gold Glove teams may or may not choose to enter their teams into our on-line registration system. There are good advantages in being on-line, such as practice and game schedule reminders, instant e-mail and text messaging to all members and any additional persons of a player’s choice.
