Age Group: Ages 13 & 14
Grade: 7th & 8th Grades
Registration Fee: $160.00 Residents - $176.00 Non-residents

• Teams formed by grade by team manager or league official.
• Sometimes due to the number of either players or teams, it may be necessary to combine these 2 grades.
• Teams may select to play in a competitive level division but must submit an initial roster of a minimum of 9 players, otherwise the team will be placed in the recreational level (provided enough teams available to have a rec division)
• Individuals registering will be placed on teams with vacancies at level of play of their request (space provided)
• First year when players allowed to wear metal cleats and field size increases
• All players are in team batting order
• Required playing time and pitcher limits based on innings
• One hour and 50 minute time limit, 7 inning games
• 3-button shirts and caps and all playing equipment provided unless manager or sponsor chooses another option for team uniforms
• Insurance is provided and managers have been background checked
• League standings are recorded and awards are given to top teams in a division

The primary basis of team formation is by grade. A player may choose to play by age (on or before April 30, 2011) if that places him at the next higher level. If however a player’s age puts him/her in a grade higher than his/hers classmates, the player must register in that grade. The season is a sixteen game schedule beginning the last week-end of April and normally completed by July 4th. Games are played on weeknights and weekends with a light Sunday schedule. Games will be played at Prairie Center Park fields 1 and 2 and at Black Bob Park Field 8. A team option to play in a post-season tournament is available and is to begin the first Friday after July 4th. Pre-season practices are provided by the league.
