Online Registration: Olathe Youth Baseball online registration is directly through our website with our partnership with Blue Sombrero. Players, Team Managers, and Assistant Managers are all required to register through the online registration. Simply scroll down on this page and select the volunteer position and/or player division you wish to register for. When registering a player, OYB uses the GRADE of the player for the basis of assigning players to teams and teams into divisions.
Registration: After completing the required information in Blue Sombrero, or using the account you have previously created during past seasons, you will proceed to select the appropriate division and/or volunteer position, answer the emergency contact information, and select the jersey size for your player, before completing the final check-out step. A confirmation of your registration will be emailed to you once your registration is complete.
Individual Registration: All individual players will be assigned to a team. Teams are created based on grade, neighboring schools/subdivisions and 'buddy requests' when possible.
Team Registration: If you are signing up for a specific team, please check with your Coach/Manager to confirm the correct level of play for the team. Each team member MUST complete their individual registration online; player assignment will be completed based on the roster completed by the individual team Coaches/Managers.
Grade/Division: OYB uses the current school GRADE of the player for the basis of assigning players to teams and teams into divisions. Players should register based on the grade they will be going into for the current school year.
