Olathe Youth Baseball is a premiere baseball organization located within Johnson County that has been serving Olathe's youth since 1953. Olathe Youth Baseball is dedicated to all the players 3rd grade through high-school who want to participate in the game of baseball

OYB is dedicated to all youth who are entering 3rd grade through high-school  who want to participate in the game of baseball in Olathe

Our Purpose

Enable youth to compete both recreationally and competitively while stressing fundamental player development.

What makes OYB a premier league of Johnson County?

• Baseball: Baseball is our one and only focus. We are a non-for-profit organization soley focused on baseball for the youth of Olathe and surrounding communities.
• Safety: OYB provides each team with catchers gear, catchers mit, batting helmets, game balls, league and age approved bats in addition to uniform shirts and team hats for each player.
• Background Checks: For the safety of our players, umps and spectators, OYB requires a back-ground check to be completed for each team manager. Our players are the youth of our future, we aim to keep them safe!
• Umpires: OYB umpires are trained, supervised and informed. They ump in our league because they love Americas game.
• Teams: Teams are created within each division by our players affiliated schools, neighborhoods and buddy requests as applicable. Individual players are encouraged and welcome as are full and partial team registrations.
• Level of Play: Our league offers recreational and competitive league options to ensure every 3rd grader and beyond, wanting to play can participate at an appropriate skill level.
• Registration Fees: OYB is a non-for-profit organization allowing us to keep registration fees to a minimum! Included in our fees are player uniforms (shirts and hat) in addition to team equipment for each team. We strive to keep our fees manageable for each family in our community so that every child who wants to play baseball is given the opportunity.
